Spaghetti

Spaghetti is sometimes considered the typical Italian meal. It is typically a form of long, thin pasta, frequently served in a marinara (tomato) sauce with meatballs or some other meat.

Sometimes used in a derogatory form to refer to Italians.

The story that Marco Polo brought the recipe for spaghetti back from China has been claimed to be a hoax.
