Shonen

A style of anime intended for Boys but may have a crossover appeal to girls as well. Some good examples are Gundam Wing, [Dragonball Z]?, and [Fist of the North Star]?.

Also spelt "shounen".

In Japanese script, the word "shonen" is written 少年. Its furigana are しょうねん.
