In biochemistry, Polysaccharides are complex unsweet carbohydrates.

Polysaccharides are polymers made up of many monosaccharides joined together (hence poly-saccharides). They are therefore very large, sometimes branched, molecules. Properties include being insoluble in water and non-crystalline. Examples include starch, cellulose and glycogen?.
