The Nintendo Virtual Boy, released in 1995, was a video game console that used twin eyeglass style projector to display the games in "true" 3-D. The Launch price was around $180. It was a flop in the marketplace, for several good reasons:

  1. It was marketed as a portable system, but it was not as portable as it should be
  2. The display has been known to cause eye problems especially for those under 7 year old (it'll keep the eye from forming properly).
  3. By all reports, the games released for the system were not particularly fun to play.

Every Virtual Boy game has an auto pauser that will remind you every 15-30 minutes to take a brake. If you don't you mayb experience a headache.
