Miguel Cervantes

Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra Alcala de Henares(1547-09-29) -Madrid (1616-04-23) is best known for his novel Don Quixote de la Mancha, one of the earliest novels in the Spanish language. Fought in Battle of Lepanto against Turkish (1571). He was called 'el manco de Lepanto' (Lepanto's one-handed).
