Peregrin Took is one of Frodo Baggins's youngest but best friends. He accompanies Frodo on the mission to destroy the One Ring of Middle Earth. Even though he is a small hobbit, he still plays an important role.

His hair is a curly brownish color. He has exceptionally hairy feet with the same brownish-curly hair like what is on his head. He's smaller than the rest of the hobbits because he is the youngest.

Pippin was impulsive and ran afoul of Gandalf a couple of times. He almost got the company killed in the mines of Moria, by throwing a stone down a deep well; the noise tipped off the orcs. He picked up the Palantír and then actually stole it out of Gandalf's hands while he slept.

With Merry, he helped rouse the Ents against Saruman. Later, he rushes to get Gandalf? when Faramir?'s father was going to burn him alive.

The impulsiveness of the Took makes the comedic relief of the book even more enjoyable.
