Legolas is an elf who becomes a part of The Fellowship of the Ring. With his keen eyesight and incredible hearing, Legolas is a valuable resource to the other eight members.

It has always been widely known that dwarves? and elves have always been two completely different worlds. But when Legolas joins the Fellowship and meets the dwarf Gimli, they prove the lore and legend false. To put it into blunt words, they become the best of friends. Which is what makes the mixing of the two cultures so completely unbelieveable.
