Mallow

A plant of the genus Malva, or of one of several related genera of the Malvaceae, including Lavatera (rose mallow, tree mallow), Althaea (marsh mallow), Sidalcea (Greek mallow) and Callirhoe (poppy mallow). Several mallows are of horticultural merit. Some have other economic uses, though none is a major crop plant.

Plants of genus <Malva> are herbaceous perennials; the other genera include annuals, herbaceous perennials, sub-shrubs, shrubs and small trees.
