Fr. boucher) argot originating in the mid 19th century, similar to
Pig latin and
Verlan. First consonant is moved to the end; followed by suffixes such as -ème, -ji, -oc, -muche; the letter "L" is placed at the beginning of the new word. Note that spelling often becomes phoneticized.
