The "slippery slope" fallacy is also known as "the camel's nose". The argument goes that, once a camel has managed to place its nose within a tent, the rest of the camel will inevitably follow.

The slippery slope fallacy involves defining a line between happening A occurring and happening B occurring. The argument goes that, if A occurs, the way is clear for B to follow.
