Lech Walesa

Lech Walesa (b. September 29 1943, Popowo, Poland), Polish trade union activist, political leader, Nobel Peace Prize laureate in 1983, and President of Poland from 1990 to 1995 (succeeded by [Aleksander Kwasniewski]?).
