Josh, I really don't know. I'd speculate that he committed suicide because of a number of things, since depressed people become tend to become overwhelmed and every challenge seems magnified. The drubbing he was taking critically certainly wouldn't have helped. Also, survivor's guilt is a well-documented phenomenon, so that may have had something to do with it, since he survived WWII in Poland. But I haven't looked into it to see if he left any sort of explanation as to why. I suppose that would be in order to fill out the entry....
