Goddess Worship is a general description for the
Pagan and
Neopagan religions/denominations that focus either exclusively or primarily upon The Great
Goddess. The Great Goddess may be referred to in all inclusive terms, 'The Great Goddess' or 'Queen of Heaven', and/or She may be referred to in more specific terms, '
Kali' or 'Isis
?' or '
Kwan Yin'.
Goddess worship goes back to prehistoric times. Some of the oldest artifacts known to exist are representations of fertility goddesses.
