Franconia was given to the Bavarian ruling family during the [Napoleonic era]?.
Franconia was sectioned into three administration districts: [Lower Franconia]? (Unter Franken),
[Middle Franconia]? (Mittel Franken), and [Upper Franconia]? (Ober Franken).
The state colors (Landesfarben) of Franconia are red and white, while the state colors of Bavaria are blue and white.
