Great article! I have some questions about the derivation
- P(a+,b+) = 1/2 | <a+|b-> |2
- = 1/2 | <b+| D(y, 2θ) |b-> |2
- = 1/2 | <b+| exp(2i θ) |b-> |2
- = 1/2 ( | <b+| cos 2θ |b-> |2 + | <b+| i sin 2θ |b+> |2 )
- = 1/2 sin2 2θ
- The notation <a+|b-> is different from the one used earlier |z+>A; I think we should stick to one consistent way of denoting state vectors.
- Where does the first equation come from?
- In the fourth line, do you really want an i there, or are you using i |b-> = |b+>? If so, why is the latter true?
