What about deposition, the procedure by which a figure of authority becomes a figure without?
Yes, there's that. There's also deposition meaning the process of leaving a mineral deposit.

Anyone is free to label my article "#1 - Law" and then do "#2 - politics" and so forth...

Of course we could also do a whole raft of sub-pages to Law but then, what a mess!

Option 1: rename the pages "Legal deposition", "legal default", etc. Makes accidental and ad-hoc linking more difficult, but the page titles are better, and the links that do get made are more direct.

Option 2: Many of those one-word terms like "deposition" and "moot" could be done as subpages of Law, and the top-level page pointed to them. This also gives you the benefit of being able to cross-link those terms in other law pages easily; see how the poker pages are done, for example.

Option 3: Wait to see if Cliff gives us the parentheses as he said he would soon; then you'll be able to name the pages "Deposition (Law)", etc. Same issues as #1.

There is a Law page. From here you could either organize it and then make links like this one, i.e. Law/Deposition.

I think you should check what are suggested topics on this page. They are not too difficult and I think you could probably fill almost all of them in, based on the pages you wrote already. The way this is organized now, one has to search for deposition to find it. With my suggestion, one could search either law or deposition and find this page. RoseParks

As to the suggested topics on Law, I think I wrote all of those which are written, which is about 80% of the requested or suggested topics. The way the page is now, it has no substance of its own - just links to sub-subjects, (and not by way of sub-pages - which I am not going to take the time to refactor at this point). True, Deposition, Depose, Deponent and some others are not on there yet, but it's easier to add those links than anything else right now. Of course if it were law/deposition at this point, no one could complain about the absence of non-legal definitions. But - ya know what? For now I will just try to get all the legal definitions linked on the Law page, concentrate on content. Someone else will have to worry about the factoring unless/until I get time later.
