Coelenterates

The members of the phylum Cnidaria, such as anenomes, jellyfish, and coral. The term Coelenterata has often been used in place of Cnidaria, but also for the grouping of Cnidaria plus Ctenophora? (comb jellies), and thanks to this ambiguity is not often used.
