Clangers

Clangers is a gentle, British stop-frame? animated television program made by Smallfilms? ([Oliver Postgate]? and [Peter Firmin]?).

The program featured a number of small creatures living in peace and harmony on a small planet far away, nourished by [/Blue String Pudding]?. The Clangers looked similar to mice, though they wore clothes, and spoke in whistles (of a modulating type: the Clangers' sounds were probably produced on [swanee whistles]?).
