Cheese/Gruyere

A type of swiss cheese, Gruyere is strong and flavorful and generally pricey.

Gruyere is a hard cheese, so it can be grated nicely (like parmesan).

Gruyere tends to not to have holes like you see in most "normal" swiss cheese.
