Is it confirmed that the original is public domain? Even if it is, maybe the source should be mentioned?
The Burundi text does come from that page and from a page of the
CIA World Factbook; both of them are indeed in the public domain. My opinion of the matter is that the information was compiled on tax dollars, which means it's a work for hire for the United States public; I don't see acknowledgement of the source as especially pressing. But that is just my opinion and I have been known to have radical opinions. With I think two exceptions, all of the
Countries of the world are from these two sources. --

It doesn't hurt to acknowledge the source; it would give the text more credibility, and would give the reader an opportunity to find more information.
