Army

Military force dealing predominantly with fighting on land.

Modern armies use infantry, armoured fighting vehicles (eg tanks), artillery and aircraft (usually helicopter?s).

This is often one of the three main divisions in most modern armed forces, the other two being the air force and the navy.
