The Afro-Celt Sound System are a musical group which attempts to fuse modern dance rhythms (trip-hop, techno, etc) with Celtic? and African influences without overwhelming either. Formed by Grammy?-nominated producer [Simon Emmerson]?, it is somewhat of a world music super-group, featuring such artists such as;

  1. N'Faly Kouyate (kora, balaphon?, vocals)
  2. Moussa Sissokho (djembe?, [talking drum]?)
  3. [James McNally]? (ex-Pogues?, Bodhran, accordian?, whistle?)
  4. Iarla O'Lionaird (vocals)
  5. Myrdhin ([Breton harp]?)
  6. Martin Russell (keyboards)
  7. Davy Spillane ([uilleann pipes]?)
  8. Ronan Browne ([uilleann pipes]?)
